How to get to Messe Essen

By Rail

Arriving by train the best way to reach Essen. Simply use the Skytrain from the Airport to the nearby train station (Flughafen Terminal bahnhof) and from there you can use the S1 or the ICE train to Essen Hauptbahnhof. The trip takes around 20 minutes. From this station you can use the U 11 underground train to reach any of Messe Essen entrances. The last U 11 leaves at 11:30 p.m. However, after this time, you can use the EVAG Night Network.

By Car

Take the major Rhine-Ruhr motorways A52, A3, A40 and A42 to reach MESSE ESSEN. The signs for the exhibition centre will guide you to a parking site. From there, you can reach MESSE ESSEN easily on foot or with the exhibition centre bus.
