The National Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai (also known as NECC) is an exhibition venue co-built by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government. Once completed, NECC will be the biggest single block building and exhibition complex on a global scale. The venue is conveniently located and easy to access from China and abroad. It benefits from the proximity of major transport hubs such as Hongqiao Railway Station (one of the main train stations in the city, 3.5 km away), Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (6.8 km away) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (62 km away).

NECC Shanghai has a total of 500,000 sq metres of exhibition space, 100,000 sq metres being outdoors. The venue's impressive 400,000 sq meters of indoor exhibition area include 13 large exhibition halls, 3 small ones and more than 60 meeting rooms of various size and capacity.
