Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre (also known as AECC) is the North of Scotland's biggest conference venue. It was founded in 1985, as a permanent home to the Offshore Europe conference and exhibition.Set in one of the major hubs of the energy industry in Europe, and enjoying the proximity to splendid landmarks and monuments, AECC hosts more than 600 events and receives approximately 300,000 visitors each year.
In order to accommodate larger audiences, a new AECC site is being built. The modern venue will offer 48,500 sq metres of exhibition space, arena capacity of 12,500, plenary spaces for up to 3000, 21 breakout rooms and 6 conference suites. It will also feature its own energy centre.
