- Interpack ist eine der leistungsstärksten Veranstaltungen für die Verpackungsindustrie der Welt. Während der 55-jährigen Geschichte wurde die Messe als Treffpunkt der bedeutendsten Fachleute der Branche etabliert. Die nächste Ausgabe von interpack in 2020 erwartet einen großen kommerziellen Erfolg; die Organisatoren angekündigt haben, dass die Messeflächen der 19 Hallen der Messe Düsseldorf von ausstellenden Unternehmen komplett reserviert wurden. Das bedeutet, daß über 2800 Aussteller ihre neuesten Produkte und Technologien rund 170.500 Fachbesuchern präsentieren werden.
Interpack Fakten sprechen für sich. 83% der Aussteller and 67% der Besucher sind ins Geschäft gekommen und and haben neue Kunden, bzw. Lieferanten erworben. Da die Messe eine international fokussierte Veranstaltung, sowohl für den europäischen als auch für den weltweiten Markt ist, sind 66% der außereuropäischen und 48% der europäischen Besucher mit der festen Absicht zu kaufen gekommen.
Die Hauptthemen von interpack als Verpackungskonzepte und Prozesstechnik werden auf die folgenden Branchen orientiert:

Ein zusätzliches 9. Thema wird vom Programm der Veranstaltung umfaßt. Die Save Food Konferenz und Ausstellung präsentieren Verpackungs- und Prozesstechnikkonzepte, um Nahrungsmittelverlusten entgegenzuwirken.
Die interpack findet vom 07. bis 13. Mai 2020 auf dem Düsseldorfer Messegelände statt.
